Gen AI is a hot topic. It's also a topic that maybe isn't as well understood because of course AI has been around for a long time but Gen AI is still quite nascent in terms of its use. And it's also a huge, interesting and transformative but amorphous beast topic. From this Gen AI course, I gained insight about how to more effectively use Gen AI in my work and just to learn what the latest thinking is on Gen AI and find out more about tools that we can use. I learnt that the more precise that you can be in your prompts the better the outcome is with GPT or other Gen AI tools.

I found TechFin's Launching a Startup course at SMU Academy informative and practical. The focus is not on theory, but on real-world application, which I found invaluable. The instructor, Joyce has many years of startup experience and generously shares her knowledge with the participants. My main reason for signing up was to gain practical know-how for starting my own business, particularly as a source of passive income for retirement. One key takeaway for me was the emphasis on execution. Joyce stressed the importance of bringing ideas to market quickly and testing them out, highlighting that execution is more critical than the idea itself. This is a valuable lesson that I will carry forward after completing the course.

This course was quite enlightening and very educational in terms of giving the 101 of how to launch a startup, something that I've not been exposed to and I'm curious about, so I found the course really useful. My key takeaway from this course was launching a startup is not easy, but there is an ecosystem in Singapore that we can leverage on and there is help at hand. So, I think that gives some assurance if you really want to launch a startup. Though I have no plans on starting something of mine own yet, I'm still exploring the options and I think having an insight on the ecosystem as well as the steps and the possibility of engaging mentors and help, I think helps to actually give some assurance that if I am interested, I can take a step forward in this space. Alright, thank you so much.
